Programme
Our Primary 5-11 programme is for trainees who want to work in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6), however trainees also go on to work in EYFS classrooms and SEN schools. All primary trainees will benefit from a placement in each Key Stage during their training.
The programme has been created to ensure that it develops the ability of all trainees to teach the full range of National Curriculum subjects across each year group, and is constantly being updated to include the newest research released from the EEF and tailored to create bespoke sessions for each cohort’s needs.
Our Primary programme is popular and as such to ensure that we can ensure quality placements and contact time, we generally accept around 26 trainees every year.
