AA Teamworks SCITT is a member of the independent scheme for the review of student complains run by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA). If a student is unhappy with the final outcome of an internal complaint, appeal or disciplinary process, they may be able to apply to the OIA for a review of the complaint, provided the case is eligible under the rules of the OIA. More information about making a complaint to the OIA, their regulations for eligibility, and their processes and possible outcomes, can be found on their website.

Safeguarding Children and Young People

AA Teamworks West Yorkshire SCITT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff, trainee teachers and everyone involved in Teamworks SCITT shares this commitment and are therefore expected to behave in such a way that supports this commitment at all times.

Appointment to any of our QTS programmes will be subject to the following pre-employment checks:

  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a check of the Children’s Barred List
  • Relevant work qualifications
  • Health/fitness to train screening (confidentially through a third-party occupational health company)
