About Us
High quality, research-led teacher training in West Yorkshire
AA Teamworks School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) is a supportive, high-quality, well established teacher training provider which offers a range of school-based routes into Primary and Secondary teaching. We are the only Initial Teacher Training (ITT) provider in Calderdale, and we serve the West Yorkshire region with school partners in Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield as well as Halifax and the surrounding areas.
All of our ITT courses offer a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, 60 Masters level credits together with Qualified Teacher Status in partnership with the University of Huddersfield.
Following a March 2024 Ofsted inspection, we were rated as ‘good’ in all areas, including quality of education and training, and leadership and management. Read our Ofsted report here.

We believe the best way to do that is to deliver a high-quality, research-led training programme immersed in school practises and experience, led by serving teachers who are already making that difference every day.

Drawing upon a wealth of educational knowledge and expertise
- AA Teamworks works with a wide range of primary and secondary schools across West Yorkshire, as well as the University of Huddersfield and the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF).
- As part of Great Heights Academy Trust, we are able to draw upon the abundance of inhouse expertise provided by our experienced and talented team of teachers and educational specialists.
- We have an excellent team of mentors across our partner schools and offer high quality, evidence-informed mentor training.
