Alex Wainhouse

Alex works part time at the SCITT as the Lead Secondary Mentor. Her role includes teaching the secondary programme and acting as both personal and link tutor to a number of the trainee teachers. Alex has experience leading teaching and learning on the Senior Leadership Team within secondary schools, as well as leading ITTs on placement. She currently runs the history department at a large local comprehensive, this involves curriculum planning, leading subject specific pedagogical development and overseeing assessment.
