Penny Doig

Penny is a Link Tutor who observes students in their placement schools and offers support and guidance where necessary.  She is a retired Maths (and occasionally Science) teacher with 33 years of experience in seven different schools. Penny has been a Head of Department, Assistant Headteacher and her final role was as Deputy Head with responsibility for Teaching and Learning and for the Sixth Form at The Crossley Heath School. In addition to her knowledge and experience of Maths teaching, Penny has extensive experience of T&L strategies, assessment, use of progress data for student monitoring and lead whole school CPD and appraisal.  She has worked with teacher trainees and NQTs for over twenty years.
